What are Spanish classes with us like?
Our Spanish classes are lively, fun and funny! In one word – Interactive!
The reason for this is that I recognize that each student has a unique learning style and my Spanish classes are designed to accommodate every learning style. Some are visual learners who benefit from reading material, while others learn more quickly through audio and visual aids like movies, podcasts, and audiobooks. Some require a lot of grammar exercises to reinforce their learning, and some respond best to conversational practice.
Given this diversity among my students, I utilize a variety of teaching techniques and resources to accommodate different learning styles. Having taught for almost a decade, I have amassed a wealth of resources and developed the ability to teach using various methods.
In each class, I make sure I include a mix of activities – such as reading, listening, speaking, and writing – so that each student can connect with at least one of them.

- They are given access to a wealth of resources that they can practice independently even after class hours.
- Students become part of a vibrant and interactive WhatsApp group which helps them get over their fear of speaking and encourages them to speak with other students.
- Only 1-3 students per class which means each student is given ample time to practice and speak the language.
- Interaction is not only through lessons but via songs, presentations, monologues, opinions, debates and skits.
- All students who enroll with me are automatically given basic training for DELE and SIELE examinations.
I track my student’s progress with regular tests and quizzes. I am also available after hours for students to clarify queries, send texts for extra practice, ask for more resources or simply have a chat in Spanish!
