Let’s talk about why you should learn Spanish.

Yes, it is spoken in 21 countries and yes Spain and Latin America are culturally diverse!!! We’ve heard this a million times over. Who cares, right? How does it matter that so many countries speak it and why should you subscribe to all the hullabaloo?

Turns out, learning Spanish is a window to an incredible new world filled with opportunity.

Where is Spanish Spoken?

Apart from Spain, Spanish is the official language of almost all of South America (except Brazil where Spanish is spoken in large parts but the official language is Portuguese)

Spanish is spoken in Mexico, Central America, Cuba, Haiti, the Dominican Republic, the Philippines, the United States of America and parts of the Sahara!

It is interesting to note that a large number of Londoners are taking Spanish up as a second language.

We offer DELE training for all levels (A1, A2, B1, B2, C1) and SIELE training for all competencies (Reading, Writing, Listening & Speaking)

We have successfully got out students to clear DELE at all levels they have applied for, right up to the C1 level.

DELE

DELE, short for Diplomas de Español como Lengua Extranjera, is an official certification of Spanish language proficiency. Administered by Spain’s Instituto Cervantes, the DELE exams are internationally recognized and evaluate fluency across levels A1 to C2. The diplomas are permanent, with no expiration date, and are awarded to candidates who successfully pass an exam assessing reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills.

SIELE 

SIELE (International Assessment Service for the Spanish Language) is promoted by Instituto Cervantes (IC), the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM), the University of Salamanca (USAL), and the University of Buenos Aires (UBA).

It certifies Spanish language proficiency through four tests: Reading Comprehension, Listening Comprehension, Written Expression and Interaction, and Oral Expression and Interaction. The exam is aligned with the levels of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) established by the Council of Europe (A1, A2, B1, B2, and C1).

Both my kids took online classes with Shwetha Ma’am. It was a fun learning experience for them, and they learnt to love the language. The foundation program helped set the basics, they are now confident to speak in Spanish and apply the grammar. Love the way the teaching was done!

I’ve been learning Spanish from Miss Shwetha for close to 4 years now and I initially took it to understand Spanish I was learning at school. Now I’ve been doing Spanish at my own pace and miss shweta has been there guiding me patiently. She is a really good teacher and helps me understand concepts at my own pace. Moreover she knows where my weak points lay, say for example I’m not good in my listening skills, she would make sure that it is addressed. Along with this she is aware of the IGCSE Spanish syllabus I have to cover for my exams and is helping me with doing so, she has lots of resources for different requirements. Additionally, she isn’t just a good teacher but I constantly learn from her as to how i might manage my time and other things I may not have help with in my school life. Overall I completely reccomend her as a Spanish tutor to whoever is looking for one!

The Spanish Vibe(Shwetha Ma’am) is an awesome teacher. Her passion for teaching shines bright in each lesson. She makes even the hardest of topics interesting and fun to learn. She has a genuine interest in the growth of every student. She always checks in to make sure we’ve eaten. Teachers are the pillars of society and all of humanity rests upon the shoulders of teachers who genuinely love their job.

After years of studying Spanish under shweta, I can WHOLE HEARTEDLY AND CONFIDENTLY say that she indeed is one of those aforementioned teachers. Started this journey with Shweta a year ago and it has been the best ever! She makes the classes extremely fun and enjoyable... Not at all the conventional way of teaching which can get very boring.. she is soooo patient and is always there to help you with any doubts.. starting a new language at such a late stage in my life, I was pretty nervous but she made me feel absolutely comfortable from the first minute!

Effectiveness of the training

• Successfully got students to pass their DELE exams right from the A1-B2 levels. Every student who has trained for DELE with me has passed the relevant exam.
• My students have been able to confidently and successfully interact and realize professional and business dealings with their clients in Latin America and Spain and hold business as well as professional conversations with their counterparts.
• Some of my students are also teaching other students after having completed their B2. They either take 1-1 classes or in other institutes. 
• Students who were previously stressed about not speaking have now reported loving speaking the language, trying to construct more complex sentences and following certain podcasts.
